When money comes back, when a chair is forfeited, and how to ask.

How to request a refund or a move

Write to info@config-mapcore.digital or telephone 07773618168. Name the lesson, the dates, and whether you want money back or a move to a later intake. Helen answers within two working days. Refunds are returned by the same method you paid, usually within ten working days of agreement. We do not refund in cash at the door.

Chart Structure Workshop

A £80 deposit holds the chair and counts toward the £285 series fee. The balance is due ten days before the first Tuesday.

If you cancel 14 or more days before the first evening, the deposit and any balance already paid are returned in full. If you cancel between 13 and 5 days before, the deposit is kept because the pack is already printed and the chair is hard to refill; any balance paid beyond the deposit is returned. If you cancel with fewer than 5 days’ notice, or you do not attend the first evening without notice, the series fee already paid is not returned.

After the series has started, unused evenings are not refunded as cash. If you miss one Tuesday, Helen posts your pack and offers a thirty-minute catch-up before the next week. Missing more than two evenings does not convert into extra Chart Hours unless you book and pay for those separately.

Market Basics Morning

Cancel five or more days before the Saturday and the £75 is returned in full. Cancel later, or fail to arrive, and the fee is kept — the glossary is printed to a headcount. If Helen cancels the morning, you choose a later Saturday or a full refund.

One-to-one Chart Hour

Paid when the slot is agreed. Move or cancel with 48 hours’ notice and the £80 is credited to a new sitting within three months, or refunded if you prefer. Less than 48 hours, or a no-show, and the fee is kept. Arrival more than fifteen minutes late cannot spill into the next booking; the sitting still ends at the agreed time and is not refunded for the minutes you missed.

If the conversation is stopped because it became a request for a buy or sell instruction, the remaining minutes are not refunded. You will have been warned at the start of the hour.

Marked Practice Evening

Cancel by the Monday before the Thursday and the £28 is credited or refunded. Later than that, or a no-show, and the evening is charged because the pack is already on the table. Prepaid months credit unused evenings only when the Monday rule is met.

When we cancel

If Helen is ill, or the room cannot be used, we offer a rearranged date. If you cannot take that date, the unused portion of what you paid for that lesson is refunded in full. We do not pay travel or time off work.

Printed materials

Packs and glossaries that have been printed for you are not bought back. If a full refund is due under the timelines above and the pack has not yet been printed, you will not receive a pack. If you already collected a pack and then cancel inside a window that would otherwise be a full refund, we may deduct £8 for the printing or ask you to return the unused sheets unmarked.

Tea, pencils and the use of a ruler are not itemised and are not refunded separately.

Deposits and work already started

Once an evening has been taught, that evening’s share of a series is work already started. We do not unwind it. Rescheduling a whole series after evening one is treated as a new booking, not as a free restart.

Exceptions

If illness or access needs stop you attending, write as soon as you can. Helen will look at moving you to the next intake rather than standing on the shortest notice period. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded remain in place.
