Acceptance

By using this website, sending an enquiry, paying a deposit, or attending a lesson, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site and do not book a chair. We may update these terms; the date above will change. Continuing to use the site after a change is acceptance of the new wording.

What is being offered

We teach chart structure and market basics to adults, in person in Farnham and, for Chart Hours only, by video where a printed page is still used. Lessons are educational. They are not investment advice, arranging deals in investments, managing anyone’s money, or a recommendation to open a brokerage account. Nothing on the site or in the classroom is an invitation to deal in any particular instrument.

Enquiries and bookings

An enquiry through the form is a request, not a confirmed place. A booking exists when Helen has confirmed dates in writing and, where a deposit applies, that deposit has been received. Prices on the fees page are informational. They are not an offer to the world at large and may be withdrawn if a series is full.

Your conduct in the room

You must be eighteen or over. You must not record other learners, photograph their marked pages, or use the session to solicit trades, tips, or business. Helen may ask you to leave, without a refund for that evening, if you press for a buy or sell instruction after being told the room does not provide one, or if you disrupt the silence other people have paid for.

Intellectual property

Printed packs, recap sheets, glossary pages, and the text and photographs on this website belong to Config Mapcore unless a credit says otherwise. You may keep the pack from your own evenings and photograph your own marks. You may not copy the packs for a class of your own, republish the notes from this site as your own teaching, or scrape the pages for a commercial product. The Config Mapcore name and the swing-line mark are used only by this practice.

Website use

We try to keep the site available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, free of errors, or suitable for any purpose other than describing the lessons. You must not attempt to probe, overload, or interfere with the site, or use it to send bulk messages. Links to other sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.

Liability

You remain responsible for any financial decisions you take after a lesson. Config Mapcore is not liable for trading losses, missed prices, or the performance of any share, index, or other instrument discussed as a teaching example. Teaching examples are chosen because they print clearly, not because they are recommendations.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales. For other losses, our aggregate liability arising out of a booking is limited to the fees you paid for that booking.

We are not liable for travel disruption, parking difficulty, or your failure to bring reading glasses. If we have to cancel an evening because of tutor illness or the room becoming unusable, we will offer a rearranged date or a refund of the unused portion as set out on the refund page.

Privacy and cookies

Personal information is handled under the privacy notice. Storage of cookie choices is described on the cookies page.

Governing law

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from a lesson booking, are governed by the law of England and Wales, being the part of the United Kingdom in which the classroom sits. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any court if packs or the name are misused.
